Hey guys, Elijah here. Work as a software developer. Met Dami by chance at a Ripple event months ago. I dabble into AI as a hobbyist (i.e. r/LocalLLama). Realized recently that what I really want is a place where anyone could access a year later and catch up to the latest tech in AI, so started writing a few blog posts regarding an awesome list and some leaderboards (simpleqa, and SWE-bench verified). Talked to Dami about it and he suggested I join the slack. I used to use AI for code pairing but these days I work on problems where AI would lead to negative productivity. For example, I asked AI to write a simple CSS style, and it rewrote my CSS to use hardcoded pixel values in media queries instead of figuring out that the $term variables are predefined in another file. I have a lot of written content of mine that I'd love to be able to turn into an LLM.
