We enable businesses to win government contracts faster and more efficiently. *About the opportunities:* *Backend:* *The Role:* We are seeking a skilled backend contractor to enhance our data engineering and API management systems. You will work on integrating diverse APIs, normalizing data for BigQuery/Firebase, and building a robust API gateway management layer. *Key Responsibilities:* • *Data Engineering & Integration:* ◦ Ingest and standardize data from multiple APIs (e.g., fixing date formats). ◦ Prepare and transform data for BigQuery and Firebase. • *API Gateway Development:* ◦ Build and manage an API gateway for routing, authentication, rate limiting, and logging. • *Logging & Monitoring:* ◦ Implement comprehensive logging and analytics (traffic monitoring, bug tracking, dashboards). ◦ Resolve caching issues and integrate with Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Delta Lake for ML workflows. *Required Expertise:* • Strong experience in data engineering, API integration, and cloud-based logging/monitoring (Google Cloud Logging, Pub/Sub). • Proficiency in SQL-based data transformation (BigQuery ML) and familiarity with Delta Lake. • Experience building scalable API management systems in a microservices architecture. *Frontend:* *The Role:* We’re looking for an experienced frontend contractor to optimize our user experience. You’ll work on improving performance, implementing reusable UI components, and ensuring seamless integration with our API gateway. *Key Responsibilities:* • *UI/UX Optimization:* ◦ Enhance user experience through performance improvements (server-side caching, optimized rendering). ◦ Ensure robust authentication and security across the platform. • *Component Development:* ◦ Build reusable, atomic design components (atoms, molecules, organisms) – e.g., UI cards and elements (20+ distinct components). • *Testing & Integration:* ◦ Implement automated UI testing (Selenium, Puppeteer) and connect the frontend to our API gateway. *Required Expertise:* • Proven experience in frontend development with React.js, server-side rendering, and performance optimization. • Ability to design and develop reusable component libraries and implement comprehensive UI/UX testing. • Familiarity with deployment platforms (Vercel, Firebase Hosting) and performance monitoring tools.
